Why we call him "The Face"

"Oh, senorita, you cannot say no to my pound puppy eyes.
You will give me the treats now, yes?
And I will not shake, nor will I lay. You will just give me the treats.
Quickly, quickly now. Just like I taught you. Good, that's a good lady.
You may pet me now. Briefly. That will do."

I'm playing with a new camera, so here are a few more of my patient little pet. I know the experts recommend getting on the same level as your pet, but if I do that The Face gets up in my face, and licking and/or dominating ensues. It's not easy trying to capture the cuteness.

  1. Don't even get me started on not being able to capture the cuteness. Murphy's coat is so shiny that it glows like a ghost in all pictures. It's a little better if he's outside, but playing outside is rare. He much prefers his king size bed and Egyptian cotton sheets. Then there's Anna Lee who travels at the speed of light. I won'ta get a perfect picture of her until she is old enough to be bribed with a puppy or a convertible.

  2. With the way Buddy is talking I expect him to bust out in the spanish slang of "alpha chi omega" at any given moment!

  3. I guess I should have mentioned that Buddy is in fact Hispanic. I don't know why, but we always use a Mexican accent when imitating him.

Bear, the other black Lab in our life, was French. I think it was the aloofness.
